No sell list for user shops
Started By
Okay, there was a conversation in chat earlier and the idea came to me.
We have a no-sell list for dogs, so why not a no sell list for users buying from your shop ?
It's simple. I would hate it if someone bought something from my shop than sold it for profit and sending me a message that "It's too cheap" or anything else. :l

I would mainly be worried about my CAs - I make these so people can enjoy my ideas. I'd hate if people buy the only one in my shop (the only one for sale) then sold for profit. >.>

I cannot say I entirely support this issue for user shops. Though this is a personal opinion and not a staff/administrator one.

Through some of the reasons stated, and because I feel it fuels more ways to spite other users as well.

Dogs are different than items. There should be no reason why anyone cannot buy an item from your shop. As they cannot reproduce it even if CA, nor is it a lineage that can be taken advantage of or destroyed.

Buy-low sell high should not be discouraged either in my opinion. It is a legitimate form of making money that I do not wish to punish people for.

It is up to the user to price what they feel is appropriate.

My fear is it being used as another tool to cut people off instead of accepting that you might not get along, but there should be a more rational way of handling it.

No support.

Honestly the only way I could support this is if it ONLY applied to CAs that have been made by the shop owner.

This don't make any sense to me whatsoever. Anybody on Ala can buy an item and re-sell it (that's the whole deal of business everywhere. Buy low-sell high). I understand the no-sell list for dogs, because it's more dynamic with not wanting to sell to overbreeders, inbreeders, puppymillers, etc etc etc but I'm sitting here and just... can't think of an idea as to why this would be necessary.

A good way to avoid being ripped off is to as around in sales chat what an item should be priced at, get some opinions, look in the user shops... etc etc.. whereas with dogs, it's entirely 100% based on opinion. (some people spend more on looks, some spend more on tp, some spend more if it's a combo of both, etc). there is no real.... "guide" for dogs. With items, it's set price --> Look at set prices --> Price yours for cheaper.

Support.

Buying someone's CAs because they are selling at a reasonable price and then reselling for huge amounts is wrong >:{
